Addressing Protected API Routes

In order to address the protected routes of the Wallarm API, you need to perform the following steps:

Ensure that you have the Wallarm account. You can sign up for Wallarm if you have not done it yet.

Get Your UUID

  1. Log in to your Wallarm account at https://my.wallarm.com.

  2. Open the Wallarm API console.

  3. Click POST /v1/user.

  4. Click Try it out.

  5. Click Execute.

The body of the server response contains the uuid field with your UUID value.

Get Your Secret Key

  1. Log in to your Wallarm account at https://my.wallarm.com.

  2. Open the Wallarm API console.

  3. Click POST /v1/user/renew_secret.

  4. Click Try it out.

  5. Click Execute.

The body of the server response contains the secret field with your secret value.

Set the Authorization Headers

Put the values obtained in the previous steps into the headers of your request:

  • Pass your UUID obtained in the first step as a value for the X-WallarmAPI-UUID header.
  • Pass your secret obtained in the second step as a value for the X-WallarmAPI-Secret header.
